THE STORY SO FAR ...

Brent Duncan is an Australian Recording Artist, Songwriter and actor.
I began writing songs at age 13.
In 2008, he recorded a demo CD, then independently released the debut EP titled "Rocket Boots", featuring 6 tracks. Through Indie Store Radio and thanks to myspace, I received an honorable mention for “Rocket Boots” at the American Indie Top 10 unsigned band requests, placed number 43 and 47 for 2 of his songs, "Rocket Boots Acoustic", and "Rocket Boots Band Version". Those placings were 'most voted' songs for that year. This brought attention to almost 70 percent of new listeners coming from America. It was a fantastic achievement for a demo CD that was not aimed at getting any international attention.
On May 31, 2010 he received his first feature on a premiere compilation CD released by the Down Under Thunder team. The CD was distributed to 500 Independent Radio Stations, Colleges and Universities in Australia, Europe, New Zealand, America and the UK. It features some of the best new, up and coming artists from all over the world. Two demo songs "September Sixteen" and "Dead End Road" were both featured on the Volume 1 CD.

November 2011, After 13 months of recording a self penned, self funded album, '245', was released world wide to itunes and Amazon and 25 other major online retailers.
In 2013, he released his 2nd album 'New Level', The first track to be released was 'Music is my drug', the song did so well, it bulleted the Triple J Unearthed charts in the first week and peaked at number 83. "After the song had bulleted the charts, I was asked to come in to the Melbourne radio station, JOY FM, where I was interviewed and got airplay for 2 of my songs, 'Music is my drug' and the public favourite, 'Cover me in chocolate', which features the beautiful voice of Rebecca Hetherington."
